Tibby was recently
donated to the Hiner family by Stacy and Mark Armstrong and their 7-year old daughter Sydney of Amarillo. Tibby was
a very special horse in Sydney's life because Tibby helped restore her confidence and love of riding after a bad experience
with a pony earlier on. After just a short time Tibby and Sydney were galloping over cross-country fences and competing
in local events. Sydney has since graduated to a younger horse that will be better able to "grow" with her
ability. Tibby is an aged gelding and it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to continue physically with the rigors
of eventing. It is estimated that Tibby is in his late twenties. When the family heard the Hiners were looking
for a small horse for Caleb they thought it was the perfectc opportunity for Tibby to continue doing what he does best - helping
children. Tibby ("Coronel") was once owned by legendary team roper Kenneth "Speed" Williams.
Tibby has done it all. From roping, to polo, to eventing and now he will debut as a physical therapy horse. We
are all confident Tibby will instill confidence in more riders to come. The Hiner family intends to share Tibby with
the OAT program.
